Setpoint.ai is looking for a brilliant, experienced embedded/IoT software engineer. R&D management positions (while still remaining hands-on) are available for individuals demonstrating high levels of motivation and performance (GEO: Kharkiv, Ukraine).

What you’ll be doing:

• You will be developing the next generation of FW for Setpoint.ai IoT devices
• Involved in challenging root cause and performance analysis of existing FW
• Participate in the definition and design of next generations of products

 

Necessary Skills:

• Must – expert level C programming. C++ – an advantage
• Must – understanding digital HW, working with common laboratory equipment
• Must – prior experience working with microcontroller environment (IAR or similar)
• Advantage – experience with Zigbee or similar wireless protocols
• Advantage – understanding IoT – relevant server-side code development
• Advantage – prior experience in bottom-up IoT projects

 

Additional Skills:

• Software design and architecture, documentation
• Working independently providing high-quality output
• Good communication and knowledge transfer

 

Education and expertise:

• Major University B.Sc CS/EE or major college cum laude.
• Fluent English
• Years of experience > 3

Setpoint.ai is looking for a lab and solutions engineer for wide variety of engineering activities tailoring solutions for company’s customers and supervising laboratory experiments and validation of new products (GEO: Kharkiv, Ukraine).

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Suggesting and developing customer-specific solutions based on existing products
• Consult the operations team on proper integration of products on site
• Design and supervise feasibility studies and product robustness tests
• HW design of company products – as needed

 

Necessary Skills:

• Must – expert in electricity and electronics and HW design
• Must – intimate acquaintance with laboratory and measurement equipment
• Must – advanced level of understanding of wired and wireless networks
• Advantage – experience working with microcontrollers
• Advantage – experience with climate-controlling devices
• Advantage – experience with cloud-connected IoT devices
• Advantage – experience with Zigbee or similar wireless protocols
